Julio Calasso was a multifaceted figure in Brazilian cinema and theater, working as an actor, director
and music producer. He was a prominent figure in the Boca do Lixo film scene in São Paulo in the 1960s
and 1970s, appearing in notable works such as Rogério Sganzerla's "Bandido da Luz Vermelha" (1968).
In 2022, researcher, editor, and director Ricardo P. Pinheiro released the documentary "11 e Meia Perguntas
para Julio Calasso," which featured our filming and photography team.
