Jamila Cruzado is a ceramic artist and researcher of clays from northern Brazil. We have created photos
and videos for the ceramic artist that explore both her creative process and her pieces. We are currently
developing a documentary about the ceramics of the Asurini ethnic group of the Upper Xingu in Pará.
This documentary seeks to capture the essence of the tradition, the techniques of the artisans and
the cultural importance of ceramics for this indigenous community and for Brazilian culture.
